Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a complementary therapy that utilises the power of your mind, through hypnosis, to promote long-lasting, profound change. Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool that can be used to gain control over unwanted habits, emotions and behaviours.

Hypnotherapy can support you through the process of profound transformation, allowing you to address the deeper aspects of your mind and the way you think. This helps you to overcome your challenges and begin a new, positive direction in your life.

Hypnosis is a very natural state of mind, one that we have all experienced countless times, and yet it’s so subtle, we barely even notice it.

Hypnotherapy utilises this natural state of mind to induce feelings of calm, relaxation, confidence, focus, optimism, clarity, and much more.

You are fully alert and aware at all times, we do not put you into sleep or in any way is this experience like sleeping. You are actively and fully involved in the sessions and will be able to recall and remember everything that you experience during the session, often clients are asked to communicate during a hypnosis session. This is ideal for any client that may be concerned about feeling out of control and reassures them that the hypnotherapist is not in control of them at all.

Age Regression

Age regression is one tool I use to help clients alleviate emotional content held onto from past experiences, that is holding them in the here and now.

We will work together to uncover recurring patterns that may be the cause of problems in your life.

Having discussed the areas that you are most interested in exploring, you are in a better place to look back into your past lives – this will act as the focus or intention of the session.

We will then talk you through relaxation steps to allow you to become deeply relaxed. This will allow you to access important subconscious memories – which may be from this lifetime, or from others in the past. There is no way of knowing for sure what you will experience during regression therapy, as everyone experiences it differently. Some people may see glimpses of several past lives, whilst others may delve into one in more detail, or discover repressed memories from their current lifetime. My experience is to help you let go of what is carrying over into the here and now, “Light bulb” moments are very common in this work, which helps a client move toward their desired outcome.

Kinetic Shift

Kinetic Shift is a way we can use your feelings and emotions, (or what we call your State) to change things. In Kinetic Shift we can work directly with the deeper mind, not with the cognitive part of the brain that will lie or cover-up. Kinetic Shift has wonderful results for those suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress.

It is nothing new, it uses techniques and insights which have been tried and tested elsewhere, for example, eye movement techniques to process memories similar to those described in this book by Sue Peacock in her chapter on EMDR.

With Kinetic Shift we are able to work ‘content-free’ in the majority of cases, so the client only needs to disclose if they are comfortable doing so.

There is no need to go over old and often quite painful experiences. This is an effective and fast content-free therapy.

The success rate of this technique is very high as together we get to the root cause of the underlying issue. The beauty of kinetic shift is events that were once troublesome are where they belong as distant memories.

NLP

NLP is a simple set of tools and procedures to help you alleviate or remove unwanted feelings, behaviours and emotions that may be holding you back or weighing you down.

As an NLP Therapist, I work with people to understand their thinking and behaviour patterns, emotional states and aspirations.  By examining the person’s map (internal ways of thinking), I can help them find and strengthen the skills that serve them best and assist them in developing new strategies to replace unproductive ones. This process can help individuals to reach and achieve their desired goals.

There are many reasons why choosing to have and use NLP as a productive tool to help improve your life. Past problems can be explored and NLP techniques used to set you on a path towards achieving your goals as well as noticing a change in yourself those around you in personal or professional capacities as they will also notice changes in you too.

NLP techniques learned can be used in other situations so you become your own expert to use in all areas of your life.

Psycho-Sensory Therapy

Psycho-sensory is a form of therapy treatment that uses sensory stimuli, for example, touch, sight, sound, taste, smell to affect psychological and emotional health The tools come in different therapies including Havening, EMDR, and EFT. I have used EFT with clients, and it has been a very effective tool.

Similar to acupuncture, EFT focuses on the meridian points — or energy hot spots — to restore balance to your body’s energy. It’s believed that restoring this energy balance can relieve symptoms, a negative experience or emotion may have caused.
Based on Chinese medicine, meridian points are thought of as areas of the body energy flow through. These pathways help balance energy flow to maintain your health. Any imbalance can influence disease or sickness.

Acupuncture uses needles to apply pressure to these energy points. EFT uses fingertip tapping to apply pressure.

EFT has been used to effectively treat war veterans and active military with PTSD, researchers studied the impact of EFT tapping on veterans with PTSD against those receiving standard care.
